LANXESS Shanghai Pigments Co., Ltd. is a joint venture of LANXESS Deutschland GmbH for the manufacturing of high grade iron oxide pigments. The capital investment of this project is above USD 20 million. LANXESS is using advanced sieving, milling and blending equipment for the production of high grade synthetic iron oxide pigments. The products are produced with the same rigid quality assurance process as it is done in LANXESS factories in Germany. The production started in early 1997 with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons and the full color range of red, yellow, black, orange and brown.

LANXESS Shanghai Pigments Co., Ltd has achieved the ISO-9001 in June 1998 and ISO14001 in 2005. Holding these certificates, LANXESS guarantees a consistent high quality production with material safety data sheets, product traceability and safe logistics services.
